Refund & cancellation

Apex services are delivered in person at our gym branch. Alpha, Melbourne Avenue, Colombo 4. The terms below apply to all annual memberships, coached modules, and session packs paid for via this site, our staff, or any third-party payment partner.

General policy

Membership fees are non-refundable once paid, except in the circumstances described below. By completing payment you acknowledge and accept this condition.

Session packs are non-refundable once any session in the pack has been used.

Medical disqualification before training begins

If our in-house medical professional or an approved partner determines that high-intensity training poses a significant risk to your health, and this finding is made before your first training session commences, you are entitled to a full refund of your programme fee, less any diagnostic or assessment costs already incurred. We will return the net amount to your original payment method within ten (10) working days of written confirmation of disqualification.

Early termination by Apex

Where Apex terminates your membership agreement early and the reason is entirely without fault on your part, a full refund of any prepaid, unused fees will be issued.

Medical reasons during a module

If a documented medical condition prevents you from continuing a module after it has begun, email us at info@trainatapex.com with a doctor's note. We will work with you to freeze your membership (see below) or, at our discretion, issue a credit for the unused balance.

Freezing your membership

As an alternative to cancellation, approved members may freeze their membership in the following circumstances. A processing charge of LKR 7,500 per frozen month applies. All freezes require supporting documentation and are subject to approval.

  • Illness or injury. Serious temporary illness, injury, or medical condition confirmed by a doctor or qualified medical practitioner.
  • Pregnancy. Up to three (3) months pre-birth and three (3) months post-birth, upon appropriate proof.
  • Extended time away. Up to three (3) months if you are away from Colombo for a continuous period of at least one month. This option may only be used once per membership period and is subject to approval.

Freeze periods end automatically and billing recommences on expiry. The total membership duration is extended by the approved freeze period. Prior approval of a freeze does not guarantee any further freeze requests.

How to request

Email info@trainatapex.com from the address you registered with, or message the WhatsApp thread your payment link was issued from. Include your full name, the membership or module the request relates to, and any supporting documentation. A team member will respond within one working day.

Transaction currency

All transactions are processed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). Card payments are processed by DirectPay Sri Lanka. International cardholders should expect their bank to apply a foreign-exchange rate.
